A WARNING TO THOSE WITH HEARING EARS (Matt. 13:9)

1.      Your mere belief in Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour CANNOT save you. Thieves and other wicked people and even the devils claim to believe in God and Christ the Lord. Jesus Christ says we must practice righteousness till the end of our lives. “For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.” –Matt. 5:20. See also James 2:19, 20,26; Matt. 7:21 and Titus 2:11-15.
2.      Do not take things for granted. Check the doctrine of your church group from the scripture as believers in the apostolic times did. If they are not true or right, reject them out-right  – otherwise, you will certainly lose your soul in the end.- 1 Thess. 5: 21;Acts 17:10-12; Jere. 5:30,31.
3.      Why did Christ Jesus warn against “ the leaven (doctrine) of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees” if doctrines are not to be taken seriously in the service of God? And are many of the doctrine of certain preachers of today not false or wrong – having no basis in, or support of scripture like those of the Pharisees and Sadducees? Read Matthew 16: 5-12; 2Tim 4:3,4.
4.      Do not let friends or anyone else influence you or mislead you into believing false doctrines that cannot be found in the Holy Bible – The Guide Book of God. If you allow yourself to be misled, you will certainly lose your soul.-1 Cor15:33; James 1:16.
5.      The desire to acquire wealth is leading many people into trouble. Do not be hasty to get rich. Those who do so commit all sorts of sins or crimes. Though undiscerning people dine and dance around ungodly wealthy people, they are not absolved from guilt before God. Unless they repent, their days are numbered. “They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; none of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him. Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; for when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him…” – Psa. 49:6-12,16-20; Prov. 28:20, 22; 1 Tim. 6:6-11 and Mark 8:36, 37.
6.      Do not believe in falsehood. If open-minded, you will be spiritually enlightened and will know the truth that will lead you to salvation by God’s grace – John 8:31, 32, 36.
