Theme: LORD, WHO SHALL ABIDE IN THY TABERNACLES?

Text: “Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?” – Psalm 15:1.

Comment: To meet the conditions needed for one to be referred to as been upright, one should endeavour to “have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.” (Acts 24:16) Moses, Abraham, David, among other heroes of faith, did the righteousness of God and were respectively identified as “very meek”, (Numbers 12:3) “Friend of God”, (James 2:23) and a man after God’s heart. (1 Samuel 13:14; Acts 13:22) In the same vein, God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ, will be the Friends of those who love to do Their will. (Proverbs 22:11; John 14:23; 15:14) As the world sinks deeper in godlessness, it is imperative for all who love life and desire to see good days to save themselves from an untoward generation. This is by way of fleeing to God’s Mountains now set up in different parts of the world, and delighting one’s self with the overwhelming benefits which His truth offers. Then progressing in the practice of the truth by means of bringing forth fruits meet for salvation. Apostle Peter highlighted the qualities needed for salvation at the end by God’s grace. – 2 Peter 1:5-11; 3:13, 14.
