Theme: Be Careful for Nothing
Text: “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19.
Comment: Determined to drag all men into destruction along with him, the devil mounts a sustained and determined assault against the true worshippers of God in order to weaken their faith or resolve to continue in the way of life till the end. It was on this score, St. Peter stated that “the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. (1 Peter 5:8) People of God should always trust and be prayerful to Him as He (God Almighty) “…knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations.” – 2 Peter 2:9; Psalm 55:22; 1 Peter 5:6, 7.
