Text: “And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” – Matthew 21:22.
Comment: To pray is one thing, to believe in the power of God to answer that prayer is another. Believing means we have the faith that God will grant us our petition in His own due time. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When we pray and doubt, God sees our hearts and will not grant us our requests. Doubting can make one to do certain things in an attempt to find solution outside God. This has never done good to anybody. Apostle James stated: “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:6-8.
