Theme: ANGER: ITS CAUSES, EFFECTS, CONSEQUENCES AND MANAGEMENT

Text: “If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared” – Psalm 130:3, 4.

Comment: God forgives the sins of His children. In appreciation of this, the Psalmist made the declaration as in the text for today. The benefit of Christ’s death – forgiveness, mercy and eternal life – are available to everyone who believes in him, and accepts him as Lord and Saviour. All those who have faith in Christ, and thirst for righteousness, God will make to drink of the fountain of the water of life freely (Revelation 21:6). “The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust” – Psalm 103:8-14.
