Theme: IS IT VAIN TO SERVE GOD?
Text: “…Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” – 2 Chronicles 20:20.
Comment: There comes a moment in the course of our services to God when our love and zeal for God becomes an offence to persons who have made themselves opposers to God and anything holy. It behoves us to be more zealous to the shame of the devil. During his reign as king of Judah, the children of Moab, Ammon and Mount Seir declared war against Jehoshaphat. Naturally, he was afraid but he looked to God for help and deliverance. (2 Chronicles 20:3, 4) God will always stand for the cause of those who believe in Him. Let us sustain our trust in God and lean not unto our own understanding, acknowledging His Supremacy, Almightiness, Infinite Power and Providence to defend, preserve and prosper His sheep at all times. – Proverbs 3:5-7.
