Theme: THE PURPOSE OF MAN ON EARTH

Text: “For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.” – Isaiah 60:12.

Comment: There are so many nations of the world that may not have the grace of salvation either because of their deliberate indifference to the way of God or because they are ignorant of His way. These nations have no knowledge of the purpose of man on earth. Some nations do not want to see anybody with a copy of the Holy Bible. They persecute those who call on the name of God and Jesus Christ His Son. Some nations physically assault worshippers of God and burn their properties. Some kill worshippers of God, calling them “infidels”. In some countries, Christians are forced to worship the nation’s leader, and belonging to another religion makes one an enemy of the state. Some nations of the world also promote fashions that are against moral principles of God Almighty and some have legalized traditions or customs that contradict the purpose of God for making man. Countries that legalize homosexuality, lesbianism, bestiality, etc., are at risk of being utterly wasted as in the text for today unless they thoroughly repent of their ways. – Jeremiah 10:6, 7, 10, 11; 1 John 2:15-17; 1 Corinthians 7:31
