Theme: UNDERSTANDING THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES
Text: “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.” – Matthew 24:21.
Comment: That this evil world will come to an end, there is no doubt. This is the will of God. The climax will be the war to end all wars and woes which is known as the battle of Armageddon or the battle of the great day of God Almighty. (Revelation 16:13, 14) Jesus Christ will lead the army of God as His battle axe (Jeremiah 51:20; Isaiah 40:10) against Satan the devil and his followers – visible and invisible. (Jeremiah 25:31-33) Worshippers of God should flee into God’ Mountain – God’s Holy Organisation – now established for safety and protection by God’s grace. “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” – Isaiah 26:20, 21; Matthew 24:15, 16.
