Theme: God Almighty – The Source of Protection
Text: “Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.” – Psalm 37:3.
Comment: We should heartily do what is good, whenever we have the opportunity. Doing good also entails supporting the work of God spiritually, financially, materially and otherwise. (Hebrews 13:16. See also 1 Timothy 6:17-19) The blessings of God will continue to be on such ones who do so. Those who follow this godly admonition will enjoy the goodness of God by His grace. God indeed is good to those who trust in Him and exercise implicit faith in Him. The sweet Psalmist of Israel stated: “How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shall make them drink of the river of thy pleasure.” – Psalm 36:6, 7.
