Theme: INTEGRITY

Text: “Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye-service, as men-pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.” – Colossians 3:22-24

Comment: The Holy Father cares about integrity in master-servant relationships. He gives just reward to all as there is no respect of persons with Him. (Colossians 3:25) Joseph was sold a slave into Egypt, but he was faithful, God-fearing and zealous in his service to his master, Potiphar; even when he was wrongly accused by his master’s wife and unjustly thrown into prison by his master, God Almighty was with him, and he eventually found favour with Pharaoh, he became second-in-command after Pharoah. Through the blessings that crowned his efforts in the long run, he ruled Egypt which grew into the first world empire under him and the whole world benefitted from his God-given talent and good leadership. (Genesis 41:37-46) Therefore, in all our relationships, we should demonstrate integrity by God’s grace.
