Theme:THE FUTILITY OF WORLDLY WISDOM
Text: “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.” – Psalms 14:1.
Comment: Atheists believe that there is no God and agnostics believe that nothing could be known about God. Both groups of people are regarded as FOOLS because deep in their hearts they fail to fathom the existence of God. Charles Darwin was an atheist and he devised the Theory of Evolution to explain that God did not create anything. Darwin and other Evolutionists lack wisdom and their folly was even negated by other great scientists like Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur and Henry Morris and thousands of other scientists who believe that scientific evidences show that there is God. This shows that human or worldly wisdom is futile. King David extolled the creative ingenuity of God Almighty when he said: “I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest part of the earth…” – Psalms 139:14-16.
