Theme: THE DANGER OF TALE BEARING AND RASH JUDGMENT
Text: “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape.” – Proverbs 19:5.
Comment: Most, if not all talebearers are liars, who misrepresents facts while carrying out their wicked and ungodly acts. The aims are always selfish. They end up telling lies against innocent persons, of which sometimes those persons are punished for what they did not do and some extreme cases lose their lives. Organizations, groups, associations are disunited and set on fire by talebearing and lie telling by their members. The Bible says that no liar shall inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9, 10; Galatians 5:19-21; Revelation 21:8) As Christians who seek life, we should desist from talebearing and focus on doing the righteousness of God which will give us the grace to inherit the Kingdom of God here on earth by His grace.
