Comment: Because the word of God as enshrined in the Holy Bible is inspired by God through His Holy Spirit, it has the spiritual force or power to positively impact on the lives of those who read and prayerfully meditate upon its words. (Psalm 19:7-11) The Greatest Teacher of all times, our Lord Jesus Christ declared: “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63) So efficacious is the word of God that it exposes falsehood, (2 Corinthians 4:3, 4; 10:3, 4) sanctifies, (John 15:3; 17:17; Ephesians 5:26) and makes one meet God’s approval, by His grace. (2 Timothy 2:15) To the Hebrew converts, St. Paul says: “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” – Hebrews 4:12.
