Theme: WE SHALL ALL REAP WHAT WE SOW
Text: “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” – Galatians 6:8.
Comment: Sowing to the flesh entails engaging in sinful practices or works of the flesh such as fornication, adultery, uncleanness, idolatry, drunkenness, hatred, witchcraft, etc., which in the end would prevent one from entering God’s Kingdom. (Galatians 5:19-21; 1 Corinthians 6:9, 10) On the other hand, sowing to the Spirit entails supporting the work of God using our substance, wealth, wisdom, physical strength, gift, talent, skill, etc., so as to further the course of righteousness for which we shall reap bountiful blessings from God. Scripture says: “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.” – Hosea 10:12; Proverbs 3:9, 10.
