Text: “My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother.” – Proverbs 6:20.
Comment: Disobedience belongs to the Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Some persons are naturally stubborn even from childhood. Such children don’t obey their parents or any elderly person who try to correct them. Such children grow up to become adults who are always in opposition to authority figures. They have the knack for disobeying rules and regulations of a place, and as such are always expelled or kicked out of any organization they found themselves. The Holy Bible enjoins children to be obedient to their parents, while servants are to obey their masters. (Ephesians 6:1-3; Colossians 3:20, 22) As true worshippers of God, we are expected to obey those in rulership positions in the Church of God. – Hebrews 13:7, 17; 1 Peter 2:13-15
