Theme:THE FUTILITY OF WORLDLY WISDOM

Text: “O LORD, how great are thy works! And thy thoughts are very deep. A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.” – Psalms 92:5, 6.

Comment: The leading text for today talks about the works of the great Architect of the universe. Fools do not understand His works of creation and cannot fathom it. They conclude that there is no God because of their abominable works. Some have created baseless dogmas to confuse the gullible concerning the existence of God while some genuine-hearted individuals seek the knowledge of God and extol His greatness in His works of creation. David J. Stewart in his work, Folly of Evolution, said: “When I behold the heaven in the night sky, I know there is God. When I behold the heaven through a telescope, I know there is God. When I behold the beauty of the peacock’s feather, I know there is God. When I behold the magnificence of the lion, I know there is God… When I consider the amazing intelligent design of the human body, I know there is God… I see God in everything in the universe, except man’s rebellion and sin.” See Psalms 107:23-32.
