Theme: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD
Text: “Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” – Matthew 21:21, 22.
Comment: Some people may have various plans for themselves or for the work of God. These may look impossible but with steadiness, determination, patience, faith, they will be realised if such are according to the will of God. As St. Paul said, God is able “to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”. – Ephesians 3:20.
Many youths need to go to school, find jobs, get married, raise children, enjoy God’s deliverance from the assault of the enemy, live a righteous life, help others and so on. All such ones should draw inspiration from the word of God in the Bible to wit: “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD”. – Psalm 27:14.
St. Peter states: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world”. – 1 Peter 5:6-9.
