Theme: Fortitude
Text: “Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.” – 2 Chronicles 15:7.
Comment: Today’s devotional tells us of the need to be strong and not let our hands to be weak. Weakness of hand shows lack of strength or willpower to do the right thing and to resist the devil. (James 4:7) The encouraging words which follow are meant to help us show fortitude. God Almighty says that there is reward in fortitude. That is, when we focus on the things of the spirit, by the grace of God, salvation will be our portion. Deliverance in this present world and salvation in the end is the ultimate reward for Christians by God’s grace. – 1 John 2:25.
