Theme: Fruits of the Spirit

Text: “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” – 1 John 4:9, 10.

Comment:  The Almighty God showed His love for mankind when He sent His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ into this woeful world to give his life as a ransom for many. For us who are children of the Most High, there is no better way to express our love for the Father and His son, Jesus Christ, than in keeping to Their commandments as Christ himself said: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15) Scriptures enjoin us to love one another including our enemies. (Matthew 5:43-48) Apostle Paul says, “Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law… Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.” – Romans 13:8-11.
