Theme: THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

Text: “Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise? He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.” – Psalms 94:8-11.

Comment: While those who promote the doctrine of “unbelief” have always ended up disgracefully, the praise of God continues unabated among people of goodwill.  As the text for today says, God Almighty is definitely seeing the abominable things the ungodly are doing and hearing the blasphemous words they are saying because of unbelief. He will call them to account some day except they repent. Apostle Jude revealed to us the prophecy of Enoch to wit: “Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him”. – Jude 1:14, 15.

There were skeptics in the time of Apostle Paul.  Concerning these skeptics St. Paul wrote,  “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God …Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?” (1 Corinthians 1:18-21) Truly, “Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.” – Revelation 15:3, 4.
