Theme: DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS TO THE VOICE OF GOD
Text: “Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness.” – Psalm 95:8.
Comment: We have everything to gain if we do not harden our hearts to the voice of God. (Isaiah 1:16-18) In reasoning with the Almighty God, we should be willing to have knowledge and understanding, and be obedient to His commandments so as to be blessed manifoldly in this world and in the world to come receive the promise of everlasting life by His grace. (Isaiah 1:19; Luke 18:30; 1 John 2:25) The consequence of rejection of the voice of God is indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish for them, which would culminate in their everlasting destruction from God’s presence. – Isaiah 1:20; Romans 2:5, 6, 8, 9; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 21:8.
