Theme: IT SHALL BE WELL WITH THE RIGHTEOUS
Text: “Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” – Isaiah 3:10.
Comment: From the statement above, it is clear that it pays to practice righteousness. If there were no righteous men on earth, the need for that assurance would not have arisen. It has its reward. The text at Isaiah 32:17 declares: “And the work of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.” 1 John 3:7 states among other things, “…he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.” It therefore behoves us to make serious effort to refrain from sin and do things that are pleasing to God just as Noah and Lot were delivered from the troubles of their era. “Righteousness delivereth from death”, so says King Solomon in Proverb 11:4.
