DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS TO THE VOICE OF GOD
Text: “Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the Lord thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.” – Deuteronomy 27:10.
Comment: The voice of God are His determinations, His purpose, mind or will, as stated in the Holy Bible. In the first instance, they were written in stones to convey the permanent state of the word of God (Deuteronomy 27:8) and the fact that He does not change (Malachi 3:6). Also, the words of God were written plainly for all to have knowledge and understanding of them. In all we do, we should obey the voice of God that has been handed down to us plainly, “For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices: But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.” – Jeremiah 7:22, 23.
