Comment: The Holy Bible clearly shows that the wisdom of God is a defence and it gives life to them that have it. It is true that with the wisdom of the world man can acquire skills to make money but in the day of God’s vengeance their money will not save them. (Proverbs 11:4; Zephaniah 1:18) Through scientific and technological wisdom, coupled with their financial resources, the governments of the world have developed weapons of war for destruction. Their wisdom has progressed to the manufacture of sophisticated guns, machine guns, grenades, bombs and now nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. Nuclear weapons pose danger and threat to humanity because of their unmitigated destructive capacities. One atomic or hydrogen bomb is capable, as claimed, of wiping a whole nation in few minutes. For protection, every nation shamelessly and unrestrictedly amasses nuclear weapons and the whole world is presently sitting on a time bomb that already is timing. But the scripture says that the “Wisdom (of God) is better than weapons of war.” – Ecclesiastes 9:18
