Theme: THE DANGER OF TALE BEARING AND RASH JUDGMENT

Text: “Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously with thee? When thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shat be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.” – Isaiah 33:1.

Comment: Talebearers and false witnesses have their punishment waiting for them except they repent thoroughly and amend their ways. When the lies told by talebearers and false witnesses are finally exposed and the truth revealed, such ones cannot be trusted again. In the Church, they are judged and given commensurate punishment. For God’s ways are the ways of judgement and truth. (Deuteronomy 32:4) True Christians should give themselves to righteousness and things that uplift their fellow man and any organizations they belong. They should ensure they seek things that will promote the name of God and His Church, instead of getting entangled in talebearing, rumour mongering, false witnessing and all such like vices, as we pray God to strengthen us to do His will at all times. Amen.
