Theme: MEEKNESS IN GOD’S SERVICE

Text: “For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.” – Psalm 149:4.

Comment: Jehovah the Almighty God is focused on all those whose hearts are faithful towards Him. Anybody who has faith in God is a child of Abraham (Romans 2:28, 29) “The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.” – Psalms 145:18,19.

A child of God serving His Creator faithfully passes through various temptations or trials. And this varies from one individual to the other. What is your tribulation may not be mine. Part or one of such trials is desiring something under seemingly hard or difficult situations. Even under dire circumstances where humanly speaking it appears all hope is lost. We should not lose our head under such conditions. With a heart of patience with God we hope continually in Him and He will grant the desires of our hearts in His own time. King David declared ‘The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” – Psalm 138:8.

We all know that we are sojourners and strangers in the earth. Every state of man in this present world is not permanent as God has promised His people everlasting life in His Kingdom. (John 2:25) Let us pray to have the humility as to be fit candidates of the Kingdom. – Psalm 149:4; Isaiah 29:19.
