Theme: ANXIETY

Text: “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

Comment: In this age of international unrest and global uncertainties, nations, governments, families and individuals, are apprehensive or anxious as to where the world is heading to, whether God Almighty will intervene or not. Looking at the present situation of things in many parts of the world where businesses are collapsing day by day and cases of unpaid salaries are on the increase, The Almighty Father, Jehovah is the GREAT PROVIDER.

Our Saviour Jesus Christ, spoke about the fears that will engulf people in the last days who do not put their absolute trust  and confidence in God. He said that upon the earth there shall be “distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken”. – Luke 21:25,26.

The Holy Bible says that all prophecies must surely come to pass (Matthew 5:18), so when will see this events beginning to come to pass, we must realize that we are at the end of the world. The citation for today buttresses the fact that we are not sufficient of ourselves but our sufficiency is of God. (2 Corinthians 3:5) He (God Almighty) is able to provide all our needs as long as we exercise implicit faith in Him and WAIT on His time by his grace.- Psalm 27:13,14.
