Text: “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” – Proverbs 20:7.
Comment: No one can lead a true Christian life without having the virtue of integrity. As Christians, we should always maintain our integrity by doing things in the fear of God and with faith so as to enjoy His blessings. We must not allow the devil through ungodly friends or relatives to turn us from the path of rectitude or faith in Christ. (Proverbs 1:10-19; 4:14-18) A man or woman who is poor but has integrity is better than a rich man or woman who is of shady or dubious character. “Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.” (Proverbs 28:6; 10:9) The Psalmist added: “A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.” – Psalm 37:16; Proverbs 15:16.

Text: “Whoso is partner with a thief hateth his own soul: he heareth cursing and bewrayeth it not.” – Proverbs 29:24.
Comment: One who has decided to serve God, and be saved, should be careful not to partake in, inherit, or cover up other people’s misdeeds. It is also not his place to lay accusations that are unsubstantiated. Scripture warns that we should not “be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure.” (1 Timothy 5:22; Ephesians 5:1-7) If one had witnessed a man’s sin, integrity dictates that he divulges it at the time of inquisition, else he is an accomplice. “And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.” – Leviticus 5:1; Jeremiah 48:10; Romans 1:32.
