Theme: IS IT VAIN TO SERVE GOD?
Text: “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.” – Jeremiah 17:14.
Comment: One of the challenges people in this age of the end of the world are contending with is ill-health. Some of these ailments have known cures while others have not. Some with known cures do not have ready and available facilities to treat them. To further compound it all, not many people have the financial resources to afford the costs of getting effective medical treatment. Whatever be the case, worshippers of God should always be encouraged with the assurance that JEHOVAH the Almighty Father upon Whom we build our hope has NOT and will NEVER forsake His own by His grace and power. God has promised His children divine healing. (Jeremiah 33:6) What is expected of us is to pray to Him and utilize His provisions by taking medicines, when necessary. – Psalm 104:14; Ezekiel 47:12; James 5:14-16; Psalm 34:15-17.
