Theme: HOPE THOU IN GOD
Text: “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost (Holy Spirit).” – Romans 15:13. (Parenthesis ours).
Comment: God Almighty is the God we should look up to in hope while practicing His righteousness. Our hope in God is strengthened in the biblical assurance that He would supply all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19) Being humans, there are persons who, after praying to God, still entertain doubts in their minds about the possibility of getting their heart’s desire due to prevailing unfavourable circumstances. To this end, God Almighty asked this faith-challenging question: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”. Jeremiah the prophet gave the answer when he said: “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.” (Jeremiah 32:27, 17. See also Luke 1:37) Hoping in God should totally eradicate doubts or faithlessness. – James 1:5-7; Matthew 21:21, 22; Psalm 125:1, 2.
