“If they say, come with us let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause” – Proverbs 1:11.
It is lack of contentment and greed that makes people go to steal, kill and destroy. These days, stealing, looting and killing has become a profession to some, so much that they are no longer ashamed of it. They parade themselves in vain glory and terrorize the neighborhood, making people to pass the night in fear. These people have sold their conscience; they no longer have feelings for their fellow human beings.
They should repent now that they have the opportunity to do so, otherwise, the vengeance of God will surely come upon them. St Paul says that let him that stole steal no more, but rather he should work with his hands and God will bless the work of his hand so that he can have enough to take care of himself and also give to others. (Ephesians 4:28.) A Christian youth who is diligent will always succeed in life by God's grace. “The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.” – Proverbs 11:3.
