GKS President warns of impending calamity upon the nations

The President of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) – The Church of the Living God, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, has stressed the imperative need for those alienated from God due to sin to turn to Him in order to avoid continuous degradation, woes and eventual annihilation.

In an address entitled: “The World Before The Judgment Seat Of God Almighty” with which he rounded off the Christian Feast of Tabernacles in Salem City, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, the GKS President asserted that “no one (dead or alive) can escape the judgment of God as everyone would be justly rewarded according to his or her own deeds”.

The GKS President told the vast congregation at the newly built, multi-million Naira St. Urhobo Square in Salem City, that “the preaching of the gospel…now going on serves as a warning to all peoples of the world to repent of their sins and turn to God”.

He urged people to avoid all acts of wickedness as well as frivolous, spiteful and malicious thoughts as “those who refuse to pay heed to the gospel and continue in their evil deeds will have themselves to blame on the day of reckoning…when all the wicked, including the devil will be destroyed”.

The eight-day festival, in the course of which 15 sermons were preached, featured street processions, Christian Women Assembly, blessing of little children, performances by no fewer than 42 choral and cultural groups and choirs from different branches of the Church, special thanksgiving and prayers to God.

Yours faithfully,

Brother Ogechukwu Emmanuel Oriaku

Acting Publicity Secretary,

GKS.
