Text: “I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.” – Psalm 40:8.
Comment: In the lyrics of one of the songs of the Sweet Psalmist of Israel, he affirmed to continue to do God’s will when he recalled the wonderful and marvellous works he enjoyed from the Most High. He ascertained that God’s lovingkindness and mercies on him cannot be reckoned up in order of priority and that they are more than can be numbered. (Psalm 40:5) True worshippers of God should learn from David, the Sweet Psalmist of Israel and ponder on God’s goodness on them so as to make a solemn promise to Him by inscribing His statues in our hearts, meditate on His precepts from day to day and have great pleasure in doing them at all times for our blessings and salvation at the end. – Psalm 37:31; 119:16.
