Text: “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?” – Romans 7:24
Comment: In the text for today, Saint Paul states man’s inability to deliver himself from burdens of sin, hopelessness, perils and perplexities at the instance of Satan and his agents. No mortal has any solution to the myriads of catastrophic occurrences. Some think annihilation of some tribes to drastically reduce world population would save the world from imminent doom: they are greatly mistaken! The panacea to the world’s troubles is CHRIST, THE SAVIOUR, whom we should look to. (Hebrews 12:2, 3) Apostle John states: “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” – 1 John 2:1, 2; 1 Timothy 2:5, 6.
