Text: “And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.” – Isaiah 30:18.

Comment: To be blessed means to be divinely favoured. Our heavenly Father knows the right time to attend to our needs, prayers and supplications. He knows tomorrow from today and the right time to execute His promises, answer our prayers and deliver us. “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD”, says David the Prophet in Psalm 27:14.  The Bible says in Isaiah 40:13, 14 to wit: “Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him? With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?”
