Theme: THE ANTITYPICAL ARK OF NOAH

Text: “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly”. – 2 Peter 2:5.

Comment: During the days of Noah, before the destruction of the first world, he was the one God Almighty commissioned to proclaim His name and word among the people. Without any iota of doubt, Noah was a prophet and witness of God. He represented the anointed Christians’ class, who are chosen by God Almighty to feed His people with knowledge and understanding, as well as to warn the world against sin. “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” (Jeremiah 3:15. Compare Ezekiel 3:17) The leading text informs us of “…the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.” – Romans 11:22, 21.
