Theme: GIVE DILIGENCE TO MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE
Text: “For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God”. – Colossians 1:9, 10.
Comment: To diligently make our call and election of God sure, we need to grow in faith, love, wisdom and spiritual understanding, that would make us to be fruitful in the service of God. “Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever.” (2 Peter 3:17, 18) This can be achieved through prayers, diligent studies of the Holy Scriptures, being active participants in spiritual exercise and practise of God’s righteousness. – Joshua 1:6-8; 1 Timothy 4:8; Hebrews 10:25; Revelations 1:3; Galatians 5:16-25.
