Theme: YOUTHS IN GOD'S ORGANISATION
Text: “It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.” – Lamentations 3:27.
Comment: It is absolutely necessary that one serves God Almighty right from youthful age. Once one comes in contact with the truth, the wholesome word of God, such one must go about applying it in his/her life. It is erroneous to think that one can ‘enjoy’ himself in his youth and then serve God when one is old. Scripture warns: “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” (Proverbs 27:1) The Preacher advised: “Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.” – Ecclesiastes 11:9, 10.
