Text: “Put on the whole amour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:11,12.
Comment: The fact that Saint Paul was highly talented is indisputable. He described his experience at Ephesus as one in which he had “fought with beasts.” This is to make Christians know the seriousness and intensity of the battle in order for them to be fully equipped. He wrote the words in the passage under the inspiration of God. He, in clear terms had written in Romans 8:38,39: “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Christ…” Without faith, no worshipper of God can withstand the assaults of the devil.
