Text: “Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” – Hebrews 4:13.
Comment: Man can deceive his fellow human being by pretending to be righteous, but man cannot deceive God, Who alone sees and judges the hidden intentions of man. (Galatians 6:7) No one can hide his thoughts and intended actions from God. When Abijah, son of Jeroboam fell sick, Jeroboam told his wife to disguise herself and go with gifts to inquire of Abijah (an old blind prophet) if the child would recover of the illness. Before she arrived the house of Ahijah, God revealed to him the intention and plan of Jeroboam and his wife, and instructed Ahijah to tell Jeroboam’s wife that her son would die while the household of Jeroboam would be punished for making Israel to sin. (1 Kings 14:1-12) Truly, the Holy Writ warns: “For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.” – Luke 12:2; Ecclesiastes 12:13, 14.
