Theme: GIVE DILIGENCE TO MAKE YOUR CALLING AND ELECTION SURE
Text: “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall”. – 2 Peter 1:10.
Comment: The assurance of God’s goodness and salvation is premised on the practise of righteousness till the end by those whom He has called. This calls for faith, diligence and prayers knowing the various tricks of the evil one, whom the Bible says is on rampage against God’s people. (2 Peter 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:8) God has promised everlasting life for all those who endure the afflictions of the times, remain diligent in their faith and service to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. “For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” – 2 Peter 1:11.
