Theme: WHERE CAN PEACE AND SAFETY BE FOUND?
Text: “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains”. – Matthew 24:15, 16.
Comment: The Abomination of desolation points to the defunct League of Nations which through lies and hypocrisy (abomination), assumed a position it ought not to. And those who believed in her were disappointed and destroyed (desolation) at the outbreak of World War II, as it could not do what it promised – world peace. (Proverbs 12:22; 6:16-19; Isaiah 24:5, 6; Luke 16:15) For those who understand the signs of the times and desire to worship God (Judea), we should be in the Mountains, that is God’s Holy organisations in various parts of the world, of which God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) – The Church of the Living God, is one of them. Those who are not in her yet, should come and take shelter. (Matthew 24:31, 13:31, 32) Just as Lot and his daughters found tranquility and safety in the mountains, so too those who remain steadfast in God’s Organisation till the end and not look back like Lot’s wife, will find everlasting and perfect peace by God’s grace. – Genesis 19:17-30; Matthew 24:12, 13; Revelation 1:3; Luke 17:32.
