Theme: WHY DO THE WICKED PROSPER AND LIVE LONG?
Text: “Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.” – Psalm 37:1, 2.
Comment: Destruction from the presence of the LORD awaits all evil doers. Seeing God Almighty set them in slippery places and His destruction awaits them. (Psalm 73:16-19) Worshippers of God should not be agitated because of the prosperity of evil doers or the workers of iniquity who resist the saving gospel now being preached for the redemption of the human race. The Holy Bible says that the prosperity of the wicked is for a while. The Psalmist declared: “I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.” – Psalm 37:35-37.
