GKS celebrates Christian Feast of Tabernacles
The city of Warri is set for another big spiritual reawakening as God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) –
The Church of the Living God – observes the Christian Feast of Tabernacles from Sunday, December 14 to Sunday, December 21, 2025.
A Press Statement issued by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Church, Brother Emmanuel Oriaku, states that several members and friends of the Church, from within and outside Nigeria, will congregate at Saint Urhobo Square, Salem City, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria – the Church headquarters – for the annual festival in obedience to God’s command.
The President of the Church, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun, who will preside over all the assemblies, will, by God’s grace, deliver an address entitled, Passing The Time Of Our Sojourning Here In Fear, at the Last and Great Day Holy Convocation on Sunday, December 21, 2025. The eight-day event will feature soul-stirring and spiritually enlightening sermons each day from 4.00pm – 7.00pm Local Time by the Ministers and elders of the Church.
The Feast, which will be streamed live via the various internet platforms of the Church, will also feature a Christian Women Assembly, for the spiritual edification of women. There will be Street Processions in which the members will publicly declare their faith in God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ; a Children’s Assembly; for the spiritual upbringing of the children, as well as Christian Music Festival, Blessing of little children, Declaration of faith in God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ by the Laity of the Church, Special Thanksgiving and Prayers to God.
The GKS, which is an international Christian organization, founded by God Almighty through the
instrumentality of Saint Gideon Meriodere Urhobo in 1934, is dedicated to the preaching of the
saving gospel of Jesus Christ. She has been observing the Feast of Tabernacles since 1935 to the glory of God.
