GKS observes Christ’s Birth Anniversary

Members and friends of God’s Kingdom Society, (GKS) The Church of the Living God would be celebrating the birth anniversary of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God on all Sundays in October beginning from Sunday, October 2, 2022.  

A press statement by the Acting Publicity Secretary of the Church, Brother Emmanuel Oriaku, states that activities of the Freedom Day celebration would be holding at various centres in Nigeria, Ghana, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States of America on designated dates, according to a schedule that had been drawn up for the event this year.

The Divine Service would feature sermons, musical performances and Special Thanksgiving to God. The main sermons for the service are the address of the GKS President, Brother Felix Ekundayo Adedokun entitled, “Will the World Ever Know Peace and Safety?” and “Was Christ born on Christmas Day?”

The GKS, which was founded in 1934 in Lagos, Nigeria, is an international Christian organization dedicated to the preaching of the everlasting gospel. She has been celebrating the birth anniversary of Christ in the month of October from the early years of her founding.
