FEAST OF TABERNACLES 2025
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEMBERS IN WARRI AND SUBURB BRANCHES
Unto the Almighty Father, Whose Holy name is JEHOVAH be glory, honour, praises and thanks through Jesus Christ His only Begotten Son – the Greater and More Perfect Tabernacle, for His unfailing mercies on us. – Lamentations 3:22.
I am directed by the Festival Committee of the Lord’s Ministry of God’s Kingdom Society (GKS) – The Church of The Living God – to convey the following instructions/information to you concerning the Christian Feast of Tabernacles celebration taking place from Sunday, December 14 to Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Salem City, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria by the grace of God. They include:
- First day Procession: There will be First Day Processions by the Four Zones in Warri/Uvwie Zone from nearby spots to Salem City on Sunday, December 14, 2025, before the presentation of gifts to the Lord’s Ministry at the GKS Grand Stand, Salem City, Warri by God’s grace. The schedule for the procession is as follows:
Zone A: This comprises all members in the Zone, Ugboroke Branch and Ugborikoko Branch. The procession for Zone A will take-off from Okere Junction, Warri.
The Choral Groups to accompany Zone A include:
- Suile-Aghogho Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Edo Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Ugboroke Choral Group, GKS Ugboroke
Zone B: This includes all members of this Zone. The procession for Zone B will take off from the Stadium Gate, Warri.
The Choral Groups to be with Zone B are:
- Chidiebere Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Okpe Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Yoruba Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Umueze Choral Group, GKS Warri
Zone C: This includes all members in the Zone and Okurode-Urhobo Branch. The procession will take off from Good Citizen Schools, Eboh Road, Warri.
The Choral Groups to join Zone C procession include:
- Yoruba Choral Group, GKS Okurode-Urhobo
- Isoko Orchestra, GKS Warri
- Ukoko Ejiroghene Choral Group, GKS Warri
- Uvwie Choral Group, GKS Ekpan
Zone D: This comprises all members in the Zone. The Zone D procession will take off from the premises of Drof Eye Clinic, Adjacent to Igbudu Primary School, Warri.
The Choral Groups to accompany Zone D are:
- Yoruba Choral Group, GKS Effurun
- Ezeudo Orchestra, GKS Effurun
- Urhobo Cultural Group, GKS Ugbomro
- Ijaw Cultural Group, GKS Warri
Procession for Udu/Ughievwen Zone: Members in Udu/Ughievwen Zone would hold their procession as they did last year. The procession will take-off from Orhuwhorun Secondary School, Orhuwhorun.
The Choral Groups include:
- Aladja Choral Group, GKS Aladja
- Suile-JiruogheneChoral Group, GKS Ovwian
- Urhobo Choral Group, GKS DSC-Orhuwhorun
- Udje Dancers, GKS Emadadja
- Ovwian Cultural Group, GKS Ovwian
- Ubogo Choral Group, GKS Ubogo Branch
- Otokutu Orchestra, GKS Otokutu Unit
Note:
- All members and groups are requested to be at their take-off points by 7.00 a.m. prompt so that the processions can start in time.
- Choral groups using vehicles for processions should make arrangements for strong and neat vehicles. They should be well-decorated to reflect the glory of the Feast of Tabernacles.
- Selection and Allocation of Musical Groups: The following musical groups are to perform from Sunday, December 14 to Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 3pm in the following order:

Note:
- Any choral group that is not available at the time scheduled for its performance will lose its chance. Group leaders should please take note of this information.
- In view of the increasing number of musical groups in Warri and Suburb branches, and with all desiring to be included to perform, members are hereby informed that we cannot accommodate all the choral groups in Warri and Suburb branches. Those not enlisted for performance this year (2025) will be accommodated next year (2026) by God’s grace. However, Choral groups who wish to perform from Sunday to Thursday in subsequent Feast of Tabernacles’ celebrations should from henceforth apply in writing to the Festival Committee of the Lord’s Ministry, through their Branch Administrative Committee, to indicate their readiness to perform. Such letters should reach the Festival Committee of the Lord’s Ministry not later than the end of August of every year. This is to ensure fairness to groups and encouragement for up-coming ones by God’s grace.
- Feast works: We thank God before thanking members for their labours during the Feast period. We should remember that the work continues after the Feast to clean up the compound and remove Feast materials back to the store. Members from neighbouring branches should come prepared to Salem City for work on Monday, December 22, 2025 by the grace of God.
May the Good LORD continue to guide and guard us till the Feast of Tabernacles and forever more by His grace. Amen.
