Theme: YOUTHS IN GOD'S ORGANISATION
Text: “Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.” – 2 Timothy 2:22.
Comment: There is no doubt that we are now living in a morally decadent world where men are “…lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5) Such immoral acts have led to social ills like teenage pregnancies, child molestation, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), et cetera. This is at the instance of Satan the devil, who is using his vile influence over popular culture by way of music, movies, sports, fashion and social media to promote lascivious behaviour. The Holy Bible warns: “But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” – Ephesians 5:3-5.
