Theme: YOUTHS IN GOD'S ORGANISATION
Text: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:25.
Comment: There is no better way to spend one’s time than being in the house of the Lord with God’s people, studying His word. No other gathering centred on mundane issues such as politics, commerce, fashion, sports, etc., should take our attention away from God’s word. “But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” wrote St. Paul in 1 Timothy 4:6, 7. Furthermore, Zephaniah the prophet admonished that we should gather to worship God always. – Zephaniah 2:1-3.
