Theme: THE ANTITYPICAL ARK OF NOAH
Text: “But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee. And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep alive with thee; they shall be male and female.” – Genesis 6:18, 19.
Comment: In exercise of His infinite power and justice, the Most High God commanded Noah to construct or build an ark of three stories high so that he and his family including living creatures would be saved. It is interesting to note that Noah did not go in pursuit of the creatures, but they all came to him of their own accord by the power of God. (Genesis 7:7-10) This affirms the fact that God Almighty will carry on with procreation after the deluge. (Genesis 9:1) It also shows the certainty of God’s word as those who believe and obey it as Noah did, will be blessed and saved by His grace. – Isaiah 1:19, 20; Job 36:9-12.
