Theme: Fortitude
Text: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.” – Deuteronomy 31:6.
Comment: In this verse, Moses the prophet directly speaks on courage to the migrating Jews which also applies to us today. (1 Corinthians 10:11) This admonition is very important in that we need to show courage even if Satan wants to put paralysing fear in our hearts. Just as God Almighty was constantly protecting and providing for the migrating Jews throughout their journey in the wilderness, He will surely protect and provide for us in these perilous times by His grace and power.- Psalm 9:9, 10.
